Collection: Ivana Živić

Ivana Živić is a Serbian-Bosnian artist known for her dreamlike paintings that blend realism and fantasy. Born in Sarajevo in 1979, she studied at the University of Belgrade, completing her postgraduate studies in 2008. Her work explores emotions through underwater interiors, where solitary figures, often women, inhabit submerged, opulent spaces. This interplay of water and architecture symbolizes introspection and freedom.

Živić has held over 20 solo exhibitions and participated in 50+ group shows across Europe and Asia. She has won prestigious awards, including the first prize at the 56th Herceg Novi Winter Salon (2023), and has been an artist-in-residence in Belgium and the UAE. Her art has been exhibited internationally, including at NordArt in Germany and The Other Art Fair in London.

She believes emotions are key to self-awareness, and her art invites viewers to connect with their inner worlds.
