Contemporary Paintings started in 2016 as a personal experiment.
A simple Instagram page where we shared the artworks that genuinely moved us, without strategy, without ambition, just curiosity.
Very quickly, the page connected with thousands of people who resonated with the same visual language.
As the community grew, so did the responsibility.
Contemporary Paintings organically became a platform giving visibility to independent artists and galleries around the world.
It was never planned, it happened because artists trusted us.
In response to the growing number of artists reaching out, we organised our first International Painting Contest, Contemporary Awards.
The response exceeded all expectations, confirming the need for fair, high-visibility opportunities for painters, and a second edition shortly followed the following year.
As some contest participants began selling their work through the exposure provided, the gallery project emerged naturally.
Contemporary Paintings Gallery was born: online, curated, and artist-focused.
In 2026, Contemporary Paintings opens a new chapter.
We realised that what we truly love is standing next to artists — sharing experience, offering structure, and guiding their growth.
This is how the Mentorship Program was born.
