Founded in 2016 by artist and educator Pau Marinello, Contemporary Paintings exists to bring people closer to art. We showcase outstanding contemporary talent on a global scale, while guiding artists to develop their practice and reach new audiences.

With more than a decade of experience teaching at the Barcelona Academy of Art, in a university programs, and through workshops worldwide—while also developing his own practice through commissions, and exhibitions—Pau brings a dual perspective as both artist and mentor.

At our core is a belief in the power of art: to inspire, challenge, and transform. Bringing people closer to art will always be our mission.
